Welcome to the Fringe Preview Season 2024! After last year's smashing success, we're bringing you another star-studded roster of queer comedians bringing their Edinburgh Fringe shows right to your doorstep. Each of our four shows in June features two full length comedy shows from some of the nation's hottest queer comedians.

Lorna Rose Treen is back! She slayed us all last year with her debut show, Skin Pigeon, she's really not one to miss!

Frankie Thompson promises us a thoroughly weird time. "This is part of her ‘I just need to get this out and see what shape it lands in’ season, around the theme ‘horrible’. At least 70% of the horrible things will have been created in the two days before the show, so please do not come if you’re expecting content, plot and/or structure. Any horrible things that are exactly the flavour she’s looking for will stay, all other horrible things will be recycled responsibly."

Doors at 7:30, show starts promptly at 8!

Accessibility Information

Our events are situated in the Royal Arcade, Morgan Quarter. There is also a disabled toilet on site.

The Queer Emporium is situated at the lower half of St. Mary's Street. There is a taxi rank diagonally across from the space and Uber cars are able to collect people from the Marriott Hotel, which is approximately 0.4 miles away. Here, many buses also stop to collect passengers and allow them to alight. Parking is available in St. David's Hall 2 and the John Lewis Car Park, both of which are approximately 0.2 miles from The Queer Emporium.
