Lez Write x Pride & Pen Workshops: Fantasy Writing with Kaja Brown

That’s right! Lez Write and Pride & Pen have joined forces to bring us some fantastic writing workshops. This week, we’re joined by Kaja Brown for a workshop on fantasy writing!

Kaja Brown is an award winning writer, journalist and intersectional activist based in South Wales. Kaja explores themes of social justice, disability, mental health, LGBT+ life and environmentalism in their writing. They recently ran a course all about Environmental Writing at The Sustainable Studio, Cardiff.

Accessibility Information

This event is situated inside The Queer Emporium. There are two entrances to the shop: the front entrance includes a step, whilst our side entrance is level with the ground. There is also a disabled toilet on site.

The Queer Emporium is situated at the lower half of St. Mary's Street. There is a taxi rank diagonally across from the space and Uber cars are able to collect people from the Marriott Hotel, which is approximately 0.4 miles away. Here, many buses also stop to collect passengers and allow them to alight. Parking is available in St. David's Hall 2 and the John Lewis Car Park, both of which are approximately 0.2 miles from The Queer Emporium.
